Cop Impersonator Who Killed Democrat Lawmakers had "NO KINGS" flyers in his or her fake police car.
Cop impersonator shooter had a shoot-out with local police at the murder scene, but got away on foot, leaving fake police car behind with manifesto of list of Democrats to be killed.
Neighbors called the police when the shooter shot the lawmakers at home about 3:35am. Police arrived and had a shoot-out with the shooter dressed in a police uniform, but the shooter got away on foot, leaving his or her fake police car behind with his or her manifesto behind, which contained a list of Democrat lawmakers.
The shooter also left behind a set of “NO KINGS” flyers in his or her fake police car.
Minnesota police issued a warning NOT TO GO TO “NO KINGS” DEMONSTRATIONS because police believe the shooter may plan on shooting “NO KINGS” protesters.

The suspect also had "No Kings" flyers in his car, the Minnesota State Patrol confirmed, urging people to avoid those protests, which were scheduled throughout the state and country on June 14.
(UPDATE) : The New York Times is reporting, "The suspect police encountered at the home of Hortman, the lawmaker who was killed, was wearing a vest, taser, and badge, impersonating a police officer, according to Chief Mark Bruley of the Brooklyn Park Police. 'No question, if they were in this room, you would assume they were a police officer.'"
The shooter was still on the scene when officers arrived at Hortman’s home around 3:35 a.m., but “the individual was able to escape during that exchange of gunfire,” said Drew Evans, head of the state’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley said the suspect was wearing a vest, taser and a badge in an apparent bid to impersonate law enforcement.
They were also operating a vehicle that “looked exactly like an SUV squad car,” equipped with emergency lights.
The shooter left his or her fake police car behind with a manifesto inside and escaped on foot.
“No question, if they were in this room, you would assume they were a police officer,” he told reporters.
Authorities said they have “people of interest” they’re looking for, and had detained and questioned several individuals, but that no suspect was in custody as of late Saturday morning.
Residents near the Edinburgh Golf Course in Brooklyn Park received a shelter-in-place text notification on Saturday, alerting them to the early morning violence. It warned of a suspect wearing black body armor over a blue shirt. Authorities added that the shooter, who could still be pretending to be a cop, should be considered armed and dangerous.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, speaking in the news conference, confirmed that former state Democrat Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were shot and killed on June 14 in what he called a "politically motivated assassination."
In addition, state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were shot and are recovering in the hospital, he said.
